History:

Established   in   1994, approved   by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) and   permanently affiliated to   University of Pune, has a vision-to develop dynamic engineers to steer

the world   through   their   knowledge, intellectual and perseverance. The first batch passed out in

1998 gave a result of 100%.

CALIBRATION LABORATORY

All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi has funded the Calibration Laboratory

under the scheme of Modernization of laboratories (MODROBS). The Calibration Laboratory is setup

with standard calibrators tracing to NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS BUREAUS.  Along with regular academic curriculum, facilities of calibration and related consultancy are being provided

 to industries.

FACULTY  DEVELOPMENT :

All faculty being members of professional bodies, are always on the fore front guiding the students to excellence not only in academics but also in personality developments and career building.

The faculty update themselves by regularly attending workshops, seminars, under going

industrial training and having a strong interaction with industry.

Faculties are also pursuing post graduation studies.  

They play a major part in syllabus structure framing as many of them being members and chairman of subjects appointed by University of Pune.

The results of department are comparable to that of other institutes and many of them ranking within first 10 University toppers.

ACHIEVEMENTS :

40% of our past students are pursuing higher studies in India and abroad.

45% are placed in reputed organizations holding responsible positions. 

Anil Nair ,  the  first  batch ,  secured  FIRST  rank  in  INDIA  at  the  GATE examination ,

 with a score of 99.87 percentile, in 1998.

Deepak Hinge, 2003 batch, secured FIRST rank in INDIA at the GATE examination, with

 a score of 99.97 percentile, in 2003.

STUDENTS  ACTIVITIES :

Students Association for Instrumentation Engineering ( S.A.I.E. ) , a common  platform 

organized  and  executed  by the  students  to bring out their hidden talents and hobbies

and also to develop extra curriculum activities.

 The qualified faculty is our core strength
