D.Y. Patil College of Engineering was established in the year 1984.

The D.Y. Patil College of Engineering is permanently affiliated to Pune University.
We are noted as “A” grade College by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Government of Maharashtra.
The college courses are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) & are recognized by the Institution of Engineers (India).


The College is presently spread over 30 acres of land at Akurdi, in the vicinity of Pimpri-Chinchwad Industrial belt, which is one of the biggest Industrial belts in Asia.

The college with its monumental buildings, is well equipped with ultra modern facilities. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra curricular activities,. The college hostel with modern facilities and amenities is situated within the campus. The College Library is furnished with Reference books, Textbooks, Journals etc. for imparting knowledge.

The students of the college are benefited by activities of Training and Placement department, which has close liaison with Industry.
